I'm slowly getting caught up. My plan is to be all the way caught up by November 19th. It's a lofty goal, but I plan on getting focused. Also, it'll allow me to enjoy staying on track during the holidays rather than feeling the press of gettig it done by the end of the year.
Here's the two page spread that covers these weeks:
This was spring break week and we covered a lot of local Riverside history during this week.
On the left side, we have the title card and the notification that our daughter got into the Dual Language program for kinder (WHEW!).
In the middle row is a cute pocket, just to keep it all from being too busy. There's also an inventory list. We're getting ready to have no income and I've stock piled for almost a year in preparation. I had the kids help me take inventory to predict how far each item will stretch. There's also a baseball pic of my daughter and a shirt I got my son.
On the bottom is a girls night. The girls had been asking me for cereal for dinner for quite a while (an idea they got from a friend). We went to the store and they picked out something they knew I wouldn't normally let them have. The boys were at a Mercy Me concert on that night. On the bottom right is my daughter, prepared (at dinner mind you) for the rain that is predicted. ;)
On the right we have the week in review and a lot of shots of the city history exploration, and we took Flat Stanley with us. There are also a few baseball pictures.
Weeks 15 and 16 are done and ready for a blog post so they'll be up soon. I've done most of the weeks up to 22, just need to add a few small details. This week I'll be working on finishing those and getting more done. I don't even know what week we're on in real life right now. 48? Anyone know?
