This is still part of the batch of pictures that had a lot of glare so forgive the photos below.
This week was mostly continuing our foray into the world of homesteading. This all came about because my kids said they wanted to know what people did before they could just go to the store and buy what they wanted. We choose a few things to study every summer break, so this summer we were focusing mostly on homesteading.
The left side shows:
-title card
-week in review
-home made ketchup - we tried 3 recipes and did a blind taste test to see which one we liked better
-part of our visit to my friend's house to learn about her chickens (part of our homesteading stuff)
On the right we have:
- a pic of balloon ball during the waiting time at church. They were giving us a glimpse of upcoming sports camp for the kids.
-Tomatoes are growing!
-more pics of the chicken trip
-Spanish story time with J's last teacher, and O in blue shiny boa as part of the skit she had them do
- the kids making crumble jumble cake. It's in a story book they have and they've always wanted to make it.
I'm also still working on my 30 days of Thanksfulness album and you'll start seeing December Daily prep posts soon!
