I had a few minutes in my office the other day while picking up some items and did a quick assembly of the first two days of my 30 Days of Thankfulness. It was so easy and quick having already done some page part grouping, etc... like I mention in this post.
Here's the first day:
It may seem odd to half the country, but I was so excited for fall weather this past Saturday! It's already gone, going to be back to 90 degress tomorrow, but I was so thankful for a reason to wear a sweater and stop by Starbucks for Pumpkin Spice Latte on the way to my kids' soccer games in the morning. We also got a tiny bit of rain. We're in a serious drought here so that was fabulous!
For Day 2:
For day 2 I used a tag I had made a while ago, then pulled off of whatever I put it on (I don't remember). I kept it in my fall embellishment tub and decided to put it in my album this year. It went well here. The embossed quatrafoil kraft cardstock is from Stampin' Up! I had some leaf sequins and a wood leaf I put on here as well. The idea here was being thankful for my kids' generosity. They go through their Halloween candy and dig out my favorites for me and share generously, without a thought as to wether or not they wanted that candy for themselves. I am thankful that, even though they have plenty of normal kid selfish moments, they are overall kids with very generous hearts.
I'm still keeping good notes and trying to remember a pic a day for the rest of my month album. I'll probably being posting these about once a week.
If you're scrapping your 30 Days of Thankfulness this year, I'd love to have you link your pics in the comments!
