This was Easter week part 1 (the prepping week) and I had a lot of pics so I had an insert in this spread. The pic above is with the insert on the right side.
And below is with it turned. I pretty much put all the egg dying in the insert and put the rest of the week in normal part of the pages.
This is the front side of the insert at a closer glance. We did several types of eggs this year so I was trying to get pics of all of it.
We did googlie eye eggs with stuff drawn around them, shaving cream marbelized eggs, and a spinner thing I picked up at Target for after Easter clearance last year.
Let's get a closer look at the left side of the page. Here's the title card:
I used some letter stickers I had in a stash that were so old they barely stuck. There was only one upper and one lower case of each letter so I alternated upper and lower case to get two e's in the title. I also used already die cut numbers I had in a little bin I keep extras in. The purple background and green side strip are both Stampin' Up! papers that are now retired. Both washi tapes were from Michael's as were the gems. I THINK they were "Recollections" but not sure. The doily corner is from Stampin' Up!
I took a pic of my lemon tree blossoms and split it between two journaling pockets. The green journal card on the left is from a Smash tablet. I was descriibng how I love to walk out the back door right now and instantly get a whiff of the lemon blossom smell. The pink embossed heart and crochet trim are from Stampin' Up!
Moving on to the right side of the page:
Got some pics of the girls at gymnastics. Rae was learning to cartwheel on the beam and I loved how all the little girls looked in their suits walking in releve together. I didn't realize how tall Rae is getting. She's right there in the middle, but she's one of the youngest in the group.
So here I have my "week in Review" card, an announcement from close friends who are expecting their first baby ( we got this pic of their dog via text), and the other pic of Rae doing her cartwheel/beam practice. The weekly plan card was from a stack I got at Target. It was 4x6 and I just chopped it down.
The last pics are from my son's Open House at school. He wanted to dress up. So cute. The top pic is him and his main friend this year, and the middle pic is him reading a report he wrote in Spanish to me. The bottom is him and his teacher this year. <sigh>
That's it for week 13.
