So I shared in yesterday's post that I was going to plunge into the idea of scrapbooking the everyday happenings of our lives, but without the official Project Life kit. The kit is fine, but I really just want a greater variety, in page protectors, in the materials, etc...
I am using Stampin' Up!'s divided page protectors for my PL. I like that it allows the same basic measurements like the "real" PL kit, which streamlines planning and prepping materials, but also has a little more variety.
When looking for materials to make my background pieces with (journaling cards, title cards, background pieces...all that stuff that goes in the pockets) I looked for something that was general enough to use year round, to add different elements that could change the look, but that also reflected my overall style.
I settled on these three packs of paper from Stampin' Up!
Comfort Cafe paper has a variety of colors and patterns that can go with so much!
First Edition Specialty paper - I love the look of print!
Natural Composition Specialty Paper - This stuff is beautiful and embossed! Important note- it's not made for scrapbooking. I'll be making a trip to my local scrapbook store (which isn't so local) and getting some archival spray.
I'll also be using the crochet trim and a variety of buttons etc...
I've orderd a few other items that go with these, but I can't remember what they are. ;) I'm pretty sure they're mostly from Studio Calico though.
Can't wait!
In a week or two I'll be showing you how I'm prepping the actual papers, etc... to be ready. Right now I'm ordering them and waiting for arrival.
If you love these papers and dividers as much as I do you can get them here in my online store!
