Ok, here's a project I've been hiding for a while. :)
I made it out of the petal cone die that was in the last mini catalog, which you can still get. It's a carry over item. :)
I also used the springtime vintage fabric from the mini catalog, which you can also still get. I cut the petal cones (4 I think) and stitched them together to form the hat. I used the crop o dile to make holes to thread the ribbon through for the strings, and I used a ton of dies and matching fabric and cardstock to make all those little embellishments. I honestly wouldn't event be able to name everything in there anymore. :)
But wait, there's more...here's the hat box I put it in:
Scraps of fabric, ribbon, some direct to paper smearing of ink, lattice die, etc....
I took a picture of my daughter wearing the hat. I might post the scrapbook page I made with it tomorrow.
That small sizzlet die I used to make those flowers is retiring.
I know, I usually give a lot more info, but I made this a while ago and I used a ton of stuff. I just can't remember it all. :) Insert blush here. :)
I can tell you that all but the rosettes are still available for a limited time only at my Stampin' Up! website.
gorgeous idea! this will be on my inspiration blog post tomorrow. TFS
