On day 2 we had Christmas book that was new to us. Pete the Cat Saves Christmas! I got a picture of my youngest, singing along with the book (with the microphone of course). I dolled up a piece of white cardstock for journaling, just using colors from the facing page to tie them together a bit.
I used a snowflake punch and white glitter thicker on the back of the day 1 number spot to both cover the back and label the new page, and I stuffed some sequins behind the day 1 journaling to help it look more like it belonged to the current page.
Day 3 isn't done, but I'm not sure yet how I'm going to finish it, and I'm ok with that. It's finished enough that if I never get back to it, I'm happy with what I have.
Day 3 focuses on driving around looking at Christmas tree lights, a big tradition for us. I might add more to the empty squares as we do it a few more times, not sure. Maybe a title somewhere.
The back will eventually have some filler put in to cover the backs of the squares.
I put a piece of patterned paper in here as a divider. I love this paper but wasn't sure where else it would be used. I might put a pocket here with receipts later, or a manifesto, or leave it as is.
Thanks for stopping by. More pages to come tomorrow.
