We ushered in December by watching a Christmas movie - The Very Noel - and drinking eggnog for the first time this year.
And yes, I spelled eggnog wrong, on purpose. I son wrote it that way the other day. We had a long conversation about english spelling rules. :)
So I used my Stampin' Up! divided page protector here. The bottom left pocket has a variety of sequins I picked up at Michaels. The medallion and "one" that are layered are from a long ago Stampin' Up! simply scrappin' kit. I think they were left from my very first December Daily album in 2010. Anyway, I'm trying to scrap my stash more and more.
The silver and rhinestone snowflake is from the current Stampin' Up! holiday mini catalog and is attached to the outside of the pocket. The star that says "The Magic of Christmas" is from a set, I believe Little Yellow Bicylce- Making Merry Tags and Strings.
The top left pocket has a background piece of cardstock from a metallic Christmas stack I got recently at Michael's. The "Winter Joy" tab card is from Elle's Studio Noel Tabs. The Little Yellow Bicycle and Elle's Studio stuff I got from Two Peas In a Bucket.
The star rub on is from Little Yellow Bicycle as well (from Two Peas also) and the set is called Making Merry Art Rub Ons. I put it on the outside of the pockets overlapping the sections, just like I did the chalkbard art star on the bottom portion. I like to put things both inside and outside the pockets. It just adds a little dimension that way.
I have to say that I loved the rub ons in this brand. I have stayed away from rub ons for a while as it seemed I always had some issue with them. The Little Yellow Bicycle ones worked like a charm though.
For the pictures I just made a small one of the eggnog and put it on the tab card. I painted an uneven white edge around it in photoshop. I also put a regular white edge on the picture of the movie we watched and just put that in the bottom right pocket.
Last but not least, I sealed in the sequin pocket with a strip of washi tape I got at Michael's.
