This one's a little bolder than my normal card. I "cased" this idea from Laurie Schmidlin and made it with a few slight alterations and swapped out a Stampin' Up! set. I really LOVE working with the basic jewels in both rhinestone and pearl! And they're so affordable you can use 'em like crazy (and I have been :). I think I'm also in love with these longer skinny cards. I've been doing a lot of them. :)
Here's what I used:
Stamps: Baroque Motifs
Paper: crumb cake, basic black, wild wasabi
Ink: Basic Black
Other: paper piercing tool, mat pack, large photo corner punch, scallop trim border punch, basic jewels-rhinestone
Wonder what I used the photo corner punch for? The pointy tail on the black strip. See this post for a tutorial. I actually made most of them with the pointy part off center. I thought it was cute. This one must have slipped by when I was in my normal auto-symmetrical mode.
And don't forget that you can get any of these fabulously fun supplies on my Stampin' Up! website.
*** By the way, I have posts set up for while I'm at convention this week so stop by for more swaps. Also, I'll be sending updates from my phone, but I'll probably do most of them to my facebook page. It's just easier and faster. If you're not a fan there yet, go here and "like" my page so you can get pics of other swaps I receive, updates about cool stuff, etc...
