Ever wonder the secret to getting those fabulously even and perfectly proportioned v shapes on the end of your banners? Like this one:
There's actually a little trick using one of those fabulous Stampin' Up! punches I love so much! I use the photo corner punch, (upside down so I can see where my cardstock strip is going), to punch out the corner! I usually place the straight edge I'm cutting off right up against the middle square inside the punch, visually center it, and punch. That's it! No crazy amount of time, no needing to fold the strip so I can get it even, perfect! Here's a picture to help explain:
It's kind of hard to tell here, but it's that first corner that makes the tail. In this picture, it's the far left, not the middle one. The far left is where it will off the cardstock.
